Bio
Jerry West (born Jerry Alan West on May 28, 1938) is one of the most prodigious
players of this decade. He led the West Virginia University Mountaineers to
victory in the 1959 Championship (of which he was named the Most Valuable Player).
He also played for, and co-captained the 1960 U.S. Olympic gold medal team
in Rome. Jerry West is perhaps most well known for being the silhouette on
the NBA logo.
